Cody Gibson has been working in the software field for 40+ years. He got paid by his own high school for a very small programming task, while still a senior student in that school. He actually started his career in the hardware industry testing and repairing special medical ultrasound diagnostic equipment on an assembly line. After taking a job at Attachmate he designed a custom microprocessor chip for them in 1985 which was used to emulate an IBM 3270 terminal which connects to an IBM mainframe. Later he became the senior software engineer for Wall Data's SNA Gateway product, a software product which would connect multiple IBM PCs to an IBM mainframe. He started working in the world of software test automation in 2003. He quickly fell in love with this type of software programming because it's far more interesting and challenging then regular software development. "Software test automation is like robotics programming. You're writing software that will control and respond to another software system that you have little to no control over. You must be able to handle a variety of unexpected situations which is much more difficult than simply designing a software system to solve one problem." In 2009 he became the manager of the customer support team for Telerik supporting their Test Studio product, a specialized web browser test automation tool using record and playback technology. Currently he's a senior test automation software architect for Dell working out of their headquarters in Round Rock, TX. He's been doing Selenium based UI testing for over 3 years and using Sauce Labs for over 2 years.
Molly Driscoll is a Senior Solution Engineer at Sauce Labs with experience in functional test automation and application delivery management. Molly helps new and existing customers leverage the capabilities of the Sauce Labs platform including parallelism, cross-browser/cross-device testing, and actionable reporting and insights to optimize their test automation process. In her previous roles at Hewlett Packard and Tricentis, Molly collaborated with organizations to improve their automation processes and embrace continuous testing as they moved through different stages of digital transformation.
Titus Fortner is a core contributor to the Selenium project and the maintainer of the Ruby bindings. He spends a significant amount of time writing open source testing software built on top of Selenium. He is the project lead for Watir and is active in supporting these projects on Stack Overflow, message boards and in the Selenium Slack and irc. Titus has implemented automated tests at five different companies and currently works at Sauce Labs as a Solution Architect, working with the community to facilitate testing best practices.
Jane is an experienced Deployment Director with a demonstrated history of working in the technology and services sector. Tenacious about great customer experiences, Jane is interested in how technology transforms organizations and users.
Ryan Vesely is the Vice President of Customer Success and Technical Services at Sauce Labs. In this role, he leads teams focused on ensuring the customer sees value from the very beginning in the technical sale all the way through to implementation and support. He has been with Sauce Labs since 2017, prior to which he led teams at Salesforce and New Relic.
